Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA licensure recognized in Minnesota
  • Previous experience working in school settings preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to effectively track and document student progress
  • Compassion and enthusiasm for working with children

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing therapy plans
  • Conduct or support therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Encourage student participation and engagement during speech-language activities
  • Track and record students’ progress and maintain accurate documentation
  • Communicate with teachers and staff regarding students’ progress and needs
  • Prepare materials for activities and support logistics for therapy sessions
