Essential Qualifications:

  • Hold an active SLPA license in the state of Texas
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with implementing speech therapy plans under the supervision of an SLP
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Compassionate and patient approach with a focus on positive student outcomes

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Supporting SLPs in conducting screenings, assessments, and data collection
  • Assisting in creating engaging, age-appropriate therapy materials and activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and session notes
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to foster student success
  • Participating in team meetings and providing meaningful input for student care
