Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA license or certification
- Experience or interest in working with 1st–5th grade students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to follow Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and treatment protocols
- Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy and support under supervision of a certified SLP
- Work closely with teachers to address students’ communication needs within the classroom
- Assist with screenings, progress monitoring, and implementation of IEP goals
- Maintain records of interventions and student performance
- Contribute positively to a dynamic school environment, offering encouragement to students and families
- Support students individually or in small groups, adapting techniques to their unique learning styles
