Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license/certification required
- Prior experience working in schools or educational settings
- Strong ability to follow IEP goals and therapy plans
- Skilled in providing group and individual speech-language interventions
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and supervising SLP
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy activities consistent with identified goals and educator/Speech-Language Pathologist direction
- Collect and document student progress data
- Support a positive, encouraging atmosphere for student growth
- Work onsite, supporting students Monday through Thursday during four-hour shifts each day
- Assist with gathering scheduling dates for sessions and IEP-related activities
- Engage in team meetings and maintain open communication with school staff
