Step into a rewarding school-based contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). This role offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference for a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students across one or more school sites, with assignments beginning the last week in August and continuing through early June. You'll enjoy a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week (185 days total), with daily start and end times aligning to each school's calendar.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous SLPA experience in school settings or with K-12 populations preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to adapt to working in multiple school environments as needed
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and supporting educational teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist to implement treatment plans and therapy activities
  • Carry out direct and indirect services for students with speech, language, communication, and social skills goals
  • Document student progress, maintaining precise records and collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Travel between multiple school sites as required, supporting students in a variety of learning environments
  • Contribute to student IEP meetings as appropriate and assist with evaluation data collection
