Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Familiarity with implementing therapy plans under supervision of an SLP
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain thorough documentation
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy services to students as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Track and document student progress and session outcomes
  • Support inclusive educational environments by adapting materials and activities
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team to help students achieve IEP or 504 Plan goals
  • Assist with screening and assessment procedures as needed
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
