Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Attleboro, MA

Seeking a dedicated speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) for an exciting, full-time, contract opportunity working with K-12 students. This position will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of children, helping them develop strong communication skills and supporting their overall academic success. You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians, gaining valuable experience while fostering meaningful connections with students and interdisciplinary staff members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active SLPA licensure required
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-12 students strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and therapy planning
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, speech-language pathologists, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups, as assigned by supervising SLP
• Assist with screening and assessment of communication disorders under supervision
• Implement individualized treatment plans and track student progress
• Document sessions and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
• Support generalization of skills throughout the school environment
