Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active California Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (CA SLPA) license
  • Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Skilled at leading small group sessions and comfortable with 1:1 instruction for younger children
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in dynamic, evolving settings

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in 20-30 minute groups (2-4 students per group)
  • Deliver direct therapy to preschoolers and young learners, including individualized attention as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Support students’ speech-language development during both ESY (Extended School Year) and NSY (New School Year)
