Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
  • Valid state SLPA licensure/certification required
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not necessary
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with support from a remote supervisor
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising virtual SLP
  • Deliver direct interventions to students in individual and small group settings
  • Collect and document data to track student progress toward IEP goals
  • Communicate proactively with teachers, staff, and families as needed
  • Adapt materials and activities to accommodate varying student needs
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
