Qualifications/Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field
- Valid state SLPA licensure/certification required
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but not necessary
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with support from a remote supervisor
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by the supervising virtual SLP
- Deliver direct interventions to students in individual and small group settings
- Collect and document data to track student progress toward IEP goals
- Communicate proactively with teachers, staff, and families as needed
- Adapt materials and activities to accommodate varying student needs
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
