Two experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are needed: one serving elementary-age learners and one focusing on middle school students (with preference for candidates who have relevant middle school experience). Your expertise will help foster communication and language growth in diverse student populations, working closely with a dedicated virtual SLP supervisor for ongoing guidance and mentorship.
This position runs from ASAP until June 23, 2027, offering a steady and meaningful professional commitment with 37.5 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Washington SLPA license, or a willingness to obtain one prior to start date
- Completion or willingness to complete fingerprinting through OSPI
- Prior experience in elementary or middle school settings (middle school experience preferred for one role)
- Strong collaboration abilities, working effectively with supervising SLP and school teams
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and positive student outcomes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support services as directed by your supervising SLP
- Document student progress and sessions accurately
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with parents and educational staff
- Foster a supportive learning environment, adapting to individual student needs
- Communicate regularly with the virtual supervising SLP for guidance and collaboration
