Essential Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related program
  • Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with speech-language pathologists, educators, and families
  • Flexibility, positivity, and a commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of treatment plans developed by a licensed SLP
  • Conduct therapy sessions individually or in small groups under SLP supervision
  • Assist in evaluating, tracking, and documenting student progress
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district requirements
  • Communicate student needs and achievements to teachers and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development as directed
