School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) - Aurora, Illinois

Work onsite with a manageable caseload, providing direct services and support to students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Enjoy regular school hours and be a key resource for both the school year and Extended School Year (ESY) programming.

What you bring:

• Valid state licensure as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
• Prior experience delivering speech and language services in a school setting

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to K-6 students
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to develop and implement student communication goals
• Maintain documentation and progress reports aligned with IEP requirements
• Adapt therapy techniques to individual and group sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of student support plans

Schedule and assignment details:

• Standard onsite hours: 8:00am – 3:30pm, Monday through Friday
• ESY hours: 8:00am – 2:30pm, Monday through Friday (June 1 – June 29)
• School year ends May 29; SY 26-27 staff begin August 13
• Caseload: 5 classrooms, each with a maximum of 6 students; current enrollment 22 (may increase by 2)
