Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in the Baltimore area. This full-time contract position offers the chance to make a profound impact on PreK–5th graders across two elementary schools, providing essential speech and language services that help students thrive academically and socially.

Enjoy a dynamic week rotating between two campuses, with three days at Magnolia Elementary (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two days at Prospect Mill Elementary (Monday, Wednesday). Your skills will empower children to reach their communication milestones, fostering growth in a collaborative school environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Maryland Professional Licensure for Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with PreK–5th grade students in school settings
  • Images of licenses must be provided with your application
  • Ability to pass a District background check, fingerprinting, and comply with House Bill 486 employment history review
  • Previous school-based SLPA experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy as directed by supervising SLPs
  • Provide interventions, support classroom teachers, and document student progress
  • Adapt therapy materials to meet student needs
  • Coordinate schedules to manage caseloads across both sites
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and special education staff

This assignment begins February 16, 2026, running through May 29, 2026—with the possibility to extend into the Extended School Year program in July (four additional weeks). A prescreen interview process between 9-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. EST will help match you to the right setting and team.
