Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active SLPA license or eligible credentials as required in Maryland
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings, preferred
- Ability to follow Speech-Language Pathologist’s treatment plans and collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Implement therapy sessions in both individual and group settings, addressing a variety of communication disorders
- Assist with preparing materials and maintaining accurate records of student progress
- Collaborate with education professionals and parents to support student development
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development as required
- Help to promote language and communication opportunities throughout the school day for K-8 students
