Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program (or equivalent)
- Active SLPA licensure (or eligibility) for the state of Maine
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and parents
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate approach to supporting students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy plans as directed by licensed SLPs to support students’ speech and language development
- Conduct activities and exercises targeting individual goals and IEP objectives
- Document student progress, collect relevant data, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with school staff and families
