What we’re looking for:
- Current licensure or eligibility as an SLPA in North Carolina
- Experience in school settings, with knowledge of diverse student needs
- Strong background in delivering direct and indirect therapy under SLP supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and fellow staff
- Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping skills
In your day-to-day, you’ll:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students as specified in their IEPs
- Collect data and document progress toward communication goals
- Support SLPs in planning, implementing, and adapting therapy activities
- Participate in team meetings and adapt strategies for student success
- Advocate for students while fostering growth and confidence in communication skills
