Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) license in Texas
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with diverse student populations
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and collaborative teamwork

Responsibilities:

  • Implement therapy plans developed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Conduct individual and group sessions to help students develop speech, language, and communication skills
  • Accurately document student progress and provide updates to supervising SLP and educational staff
  • Support IEP goals as directed and maintain open communication with teachers and family members
  • Assist with screenings and assessments as needed under supervision
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and success
