Seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to provide valuable support to elementary students in a school setting. This part-time, contract opportunity involves working up to 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, offering a chance to make a lasting impact on student communication skills.

Key Qualifications:

  • SLPA licensure or certification required
  • Previous experience working with elementary students in school environments preferred
  • Knowledge of speech and language development as well as communication disorders
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Speech Language Pathologists, teachers, and families

Role Overview:

  • Provide direct support and assistance to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Implement speech and language therapy plans and interventions as directed
  • Collect data and document student progress toward established goals
  • Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions
  • Maintain regular communication with supervising SLP and educational staff
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student success plans
