Grades K - 5 Certified Speech Therapist Assistant in Blackwell, OK

A certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) with active licensure is needed to support students in grades K-12, primarily focusing on grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12. This position is based in Blackwell, OK, offering an opportunity to work within a school setting under a contract arrangement, with an immediate start date available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech-language support to approximately 50 elementary students (PK-5) with mild to moderate articulation and language needs.
• Deliver services mainly in general education classrooms, utilizing both push-in and pull-out methods.
• Collaborate with licensed speech-language pathologists and educational staff to create and implement individualized support plans.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of student progress and therapy provided.
• Assist in managing caseloads and scheduling therapy sessions within designated hours.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is required.
• Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a focus on elementary age children preferred.
• Familiarity with mild to moderate articulation and language disorders.

Work Schedule and Location:
