Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant for the upcoming school year. This opportunity involves working across several elementary and middle schools, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students. Assignments will be based at various school locations, giving you a broad and dynamic work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active Florida DOH SLPA license required
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Comfort traveling among multiple campuses as needed
  • Ability to work with elementary and middle school-aged children
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Up-to-date fingerprint clearance (or ability to complete clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain a JLA badge)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on-site exclusively with students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Implement therapy plans and document student progress
  • Support students’ speech and language development in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related staff
  • Travel between assigned schools to provide services as scheduled
  • Maintain strict adherence to privacy and compliance guidelines
