This opportunity involves working across several elementary and middle schools, supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 50-55 students. What We’re Looking For:
- Active Florida DOH SLPA license required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Comfort traveling among multiple campuses as needed
- Ability to work with elementary and middle school-aged children
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Up-to-date fingerprint clearance (or ability to complete clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse and obtain a JLA badge)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on-site exclusively with students under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Support students’ speech and language development in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related staff
- Travel between assigned schools to provide services as scheduled
- Maintain strict adherence to privacy and compliance guidelines
