What you’ll bring:
• Active SLPA license or certification appropriate for school-based practice
• Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged children (1st–5th grade)
• Understanding of school-based therapy processes and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborative, flexible attitude and a passion for supporting student growth
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional ethics
Your responsibilities:
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to elementary students under supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support participation in classroom activities and foster a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement student treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and prepare quality therapy documentation
• Help with screenings, assessments, and data collection as directed
• Contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriate
