Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or equivalent
  • Valid and current SLPA license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
  • Experience or training working with elementary-aged children (1st–5th grade) is highly valued
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students individually or in small groups as directed by a supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Assist in implementing speech and language therapy goals for children in 1st through 5th grade
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities tailored to each student’s IEP
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute valuable insights for student success
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to reinforce communication strategies throughout the school day
