Step into a full-time school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting students' communication development. This contract position offers the chance to make a tangible impact by working with a caseload of 30 students at a single site, fostering consistency and strong relationships. You'll collaborate closely with a virtual supervisor, receiving expert guidance in a flexible, modern support structure.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification, meeting Washington state requirements
  • Previous experience in educational settings strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working with virtual supervision and technology-driven services
  • Committed to individualized, student-centered care

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 30 students
  • Implement therapy plans designed by the supervising SLP
  • Record and document student progress, maintaining regular communication with the supervising SLP virtually
  • Support the collection of data for progress monitoring and goal-setting
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to promote student success
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students
