Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Boston, MA

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure or certification as an SLP or SLPA
• Experience supporting speech and language services in a school-based environment
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Effective communication with students, educators, and caregivers
• Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students under supervision or as appropriate
• Assist with developing and delivering individualized or group treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Document services, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Adapt interventions for students at various developmental and academic levels
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
