Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting by supporting students’ communication skills in a contract position starting this March and continuing through the end of the school year. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP or a seasoned SLPA who has experience working in schools and is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and socially.

As part of a dedicated team, you’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide speech and language intervention to students. Your work will help empower students to reach their full potential by overcoming communication barriers.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current ASHA certification (for SLPs) or state licensure as an SLPA
  • Previous experience in a K–12 educational setting
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with diverse student populations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to IEP goals
  • Assist lead SLP in planning and implementing intervention strategies
  • Keep accurate records of student progress and therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support generalization of communication skills in classrooms
  • Participate in meetings with parents, educators, and other specialists
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
