Embark on a rewarding contract position as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary students near Boston, MA. This full-time role, running from September 14th through December 23rd, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within a school environment, collaborating closely with educators and speech-language pathologists.

Your schedule will align with school hours, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, allowing for a balanced routine and consistent opportunities to work one-on-one and in small group settings with students on your elementary caseload. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your SLPA skills while contributing directly to students’ growth and communication development.

Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA license or certification in Massachusetts
  • Prior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach
  • Ability to adapt materials and support student participation
  • Organizational skills to manage documentation and scheduling

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized and group speech-language therapy under supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Prepare activities and materials tailored to students’ IEP goals
  • Record session notes, track student progress, and communicate updates to the supervising SLP
  • Foster a positive, encouraging environment in the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute insights on student needs
