Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Experience working with elementary-aged children (grades 1 through 5) in an academic or clinical setting preferred
• Familiarity with a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt strategies and support based on individual student goals
• Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a school team
• Organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation effectively

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Implement therapy activities and interventions tailored to elementary students’ needs
• Track progress and assist in gathering data for student goals
• Contribute to IEP meetings by sharing student insights as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate communication support within the classroom
• Maintain organized records of therapy sessions and student development
