A rewarding opportunity is available for a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support early elementary grade classrooms. This contract position is located in Boston, MA, serving students from 1st through 5th grade.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing speech and language therapy plans
  • Support students in 1st to 5th grade to improve communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom setting
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with students in 1st through 5th grade preferred
  • Familiarity with speech and language therapy techniques and educational supports
  • Ability to work effectively in a classroom environment and collaborate with educators
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Relevant SLPA certification or training as required by state or district regulations

  • Boston, Massachusetts – position based within local schools supporting early elementary education
