Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) credentials required
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with language, articulation, and social skills interventions
- Ability to adapt approaches to various grade levels, from 1st through 5th
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Assist students in developing effective communication and social skills
- Implement therapy plans and document student progress
- Participate in classroom activities, adapting interventions to grade-appropriate needs
- Track and report data to SLPs, teachers, and other team members
- Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
