This contract opportunity offers the chance to work with grades 1 through 5, collaborating closely with certified Speech-Language Pathologists to help students reach their full potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant) credentials required
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with language, articulation, and social skills interventions
  • Ability to adapt approaches to various grade levels, from 1st through 5th
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, therapists, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language support services under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Assist students in developing effective communication and social skills
  • Implement therapy plans and document student progress
  • Participate in classroom activities, adapting interventions to grade-appropriate needs
  • Track and report data to SLPs, teachers, and other team members
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
