Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering speech and language services tailored to individual student needs.
- Supporting 1st through 5th-grade classrooms through direct student engagement and classroom collaboration.
- Implementing educational activities that promote effective communication and learning.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress to inform ongoing interventions.
- Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification or experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Familiarity with working in elementary school settings, specifically grades 1 through 5.
