Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license in Connecticut or eligibility to obtain
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical or related backgrounds also considered
  • Familiarity with therapeutic exercises, AAC devices, and session documentation

  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school staff

Your Day-to-Day Will Include:

  • Supporting the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) under supervision of an SLP
  • Conducting group and one-on-one therapy sessions targeting speech and language goals
  • Preparing and adapting materials for therapy use
  • Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating frequently with teachers and special education staff to foster student success
