Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLPA licensure in the state
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of speech-language pathology practices and school IEP processes
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload
- Effective communicator, able to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
- Compassionate, flexible, and genuinely invested in student wellbeing
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and support services to students across K-12 under the supervision of a certified SLP
- Assist with implementing IEP goals and collecting student data on progress
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff to customize intervention strategies
- Document sessions and prepare progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Adapt activities and materials to meet students’ individual needs
- Communicate with families regarding student progress when appropriate
