Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure in the state
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of speech-language pathology practices and school IEP processes
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a diverse caseload
  • Effective communicator, able to collaborate with educators, therapists, and families
  • Compassionate, flexible, and genuinely invested in student wellbeing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and support services to students across K-12 under the supervision of a certified SLP
  • Assist with implementing IEP goals and collecting student data on progress
  • Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and school staff to customize intervention strategies
  • Document sessions and prepare progress notes in accordance with school and district guidelines
  • Adapt activities and materials to meet students’ individual needs
  • Communicate with families regarding student progress when appropriate
