What you bring:
- Active SLPA licensure for Massachusetts
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow treatment plans developed by an SLP
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage students, staff, and families
- Organization and attention to detail when documenting student progress
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a student-centric approach to service delivery
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist SLPs in implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals for students
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions under supervision
- Prepare materials, conduct screenings, and track student progress
- Maintain accurate records and update relevant documentation
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all learners
- Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and achievements
