Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Burleson, TX

Step into a dynamic role supporting elementary students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a collaborative educational environment. Work full-time, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, providing essential communication services onsite under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

In this contract position, you’ll play an integral part in guiding 70-80 elementary school students, delivering direct services primarily through group sessions. Your expertise will help foster language development and communication skills, making a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Texas SLPA License (TDLR issued)
• Eligibility for ongoing supervision by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience delivering speech and language services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized and group speech-language therapy sessions as directed by supervising SLP
• Document and track student progress and session outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Participate in meetings and contribute to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP) as needed
• Adhere to all district, state, and professional practice regulations
