Qualifications:
- Hold active registration with the North Carolina state board as an SLPA
- Experience in a school setting or pediatrics preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt to changing caseloads and school assignments
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication with students, families, and staff
- Comfortable participating in interviews for suitability between 9–11 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. EST (with some scheduling flexibility)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services under supervision of a licensed SLP
- Document student progress and collaborate to adjust intervention plans
- Support a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Adapt activities and materials to meet varied student needs, potentially across more than one school site
- Communicate regularly with teachers and families to discuss student performance
Candidates with 0–2 years of school-based experience can expect compensation starting at $32/hour, increasing with additional years and relevant experience.
