Step into a rewarding opportunity working with high school students, providing vital support as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a vibrant educational environment near Burlington, VT. This in-person contract position runs from 8/21/26 through 6/14/27 at a dynamic campus that values creativity, collaboration, and compassionate care. You’ll play an essential role helping students reach their communication goals by delivering a variety of services, both individually and in groups.

In this hands-on role, you’ll support learners with a spectrum of needs, ranging from mild to severe, using small group, one-on-one, and both push-in and pull-out models. Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active SLPA license or certification
  • Background in communication sciences or SLP-A certification highly regarded
  • Experience in a school or healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to work effectively with students with diverse support needs
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver speech and language interventions under the supervision of an SLP
  • Implement therapy activities in individual and group settings
  • Support students across a range of abilities with flexibility and empathy
  • Collaborate with school staff and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide both push-in and pull-out services as assigned
  • Complete required documentation and progress reporting

Position Details:

  • Competitive hourly pay from $42-55, commensurate with experience
  • Full-time schedule: 7.5 hours daily, Monday through Friday
  • In-person only, ensuring your direct impact on student outcomes
