Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant working with students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) allows you to contribute directly to students’ communication growth, while focusing solely on your therapy expertise—without additional non-therapy duties.

Starting August 12, 2026, and running through June 7, 2027, you’ll provide both direct and indirect speech-language services in a supportive educational setting. With guaranteed hours, you can count on stability throughout the assignment. Travel therapists may take advantage of stipends to support their assignments away from home.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program, or equivalent
  • Valid state licensure/registration as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to supporting student achievement and growth

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement speech-language therapy plans developed by a supervising SLP
  • Work individually or in small groups to address students’ communication goals
  • Track and document progress in accordance with student IEPs
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents as needed
  • Focus exclusively on therapy-related tasks—no recess duty, bus supervision, or other extra duties outside of contracted hours
