Step into a valuable role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in an engaging school-based setting. This contract opportunity is located onsite near Canyon City, OR and offers the chance to work in a dynamic, itinerant capacity. You'll collaborate closely with a remote SLP, assisting in delivering critical speech and language services to students across different locations.

Bring your skills and help create impactful outcomes for young learners. School-based experience is highly desirable, and being able to travel between sites is a key part of this role. Mileage reimbursement is provided to ensure your travel time is valued.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure and credentials suitable for a school setting
  • Previous experience in school-based environments
  • Comfort supporting remote supervision by a certified SLP
  • Competence delivering direct services to students and documenting progress
  • Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and travel as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implement treatment plans and activities developed by the supervising SLP
  • Work directly with students to enhance their speech and language skills
  • Collect data and maintain accurate progress records
  • Communicate effectively with the supervising SLP, on-site staff, and parents as needed
  • Adapt flexibly to changing student needs and schedules across school sites
