Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent coursework
  • Valid SLPA license or registration in the state
  • Experience or internship in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Comfortable working with students individually and in group settings
  • Familiarity with school-based documentation and progress tracking

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in executing therapy plans
  • Work with students to improve speech, language, and communication abilities
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
  • Conduct screenings, document student progress, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
