Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or equivalent coursework
- Valid SLPA license or registration in the state
- Experience or internship in a school setting preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfortable working with students individually and in group settings
- Familiarity with school-based documentation and progress tracking
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in executing therapy plans
- Work with students to improve speech, language, and communication abilities
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
- Conduct screenings, document student progress, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
