Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid licensure/certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience or interest in school-based settings, especially working with elementary and middle school populations
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and supervising SLPs
  • Ability to follow therapy plans and adapt to the diverse needs of students
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in an educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the onsite supervision of a certified Speech Language Pathologist
  • Support IEP (Individualized Education Program) implementation and data collection
  • Use creative approaches to support student engagement and progress
  • Track student performance, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in team meetings as needed
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships with students and school staff
