Key Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is highly valued
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
- Ability to follow therapy plans and implement interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Reliable and able to manage workload efficiently in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing individualized speech-language therapy plans for students as directed by an SLP
- Provide direct support to students in both group and one-on-one settings
- Monitor and document students’ progress, reporting findings to the supervising SLP
- Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines
- Support generalization of communication skills throughout the school day
