In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with speech-language pathologists and educators to support students in building essential communication skills that will help them succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Previous experience working with children or in educational settings is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Ability to follow therapy plans and implement interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
  • Reliable and able to manage workload efficiently in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing individualized speech-language therapy plans for students as directed by an SLP
  • Provide direct support to students in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Monitor and document students’ progress, reporting findings to the supervising SLP
  • Prepare and organize therapy materials and activities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to integrate communication goals into daily routines
  • Support generalization of communication skills throughout the school day
