Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current valid SLPA license or certification required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact confidently with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to implement intervention plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Organizational skills to manage assigned caseload (caseload to be determined)
  • Familiarity with data collection, progress monitoring, and reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services to students under the direct supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students with speech, language, and communication needs in both individual and group settings
  • Assist in developing and implementing therapy materials and activities
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records as directed
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Engage with caregivers and teachers to foster a supportive educational experience for students
