Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Experience working with children or within a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for helping students reach their communication and academic goals
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy sessions designed by a licensed SLP to address students’ speech and language goals
- Work one-on-one and in small groups with students across various grade levels
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records, as required
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students’ functional communication in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute observations to support the educational team
