Qualifications and Experience Sought:
- Active SLPA license for Washington State (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school setting
- Understanding of speech-language therapy techniques under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to document student progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with implementing therapy plans as directed by the supervising SLP
- Provide direct speech-language services to students in individual or small group settings
- Help create and utilize appropriate resources and materials for students
- Accurately maintain data and progress notes to report on student achievement
- Support classroom teachers and staff with strategies to facilitate language and communication goals
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
