Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing prescribed speech-language therapy plans for students under the direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support students in both individual and group settings to work toward their speech and language goals
  • Prepare and organize session materials following therapy plans
  • Collect and document student progress data for review by supervising SLPs
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student progress as authorized
  • Help maintain therapy equipment, materials, and records in accordance with school and state protocols
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP processes as needed
