Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure and credentials required
  • Demonstrated fluency in both English and Spanish (Spanish proficiency will be evaluated during the interview process)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of language development in culturally and linguistically diverse students
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Support individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress
  • Implement therapy activities in Spanish and English as appropriate
  • Collaborate with educators and therapists to adapt materials for bilingual learners
  • Participate in meetings and contribute insights on language development
  • Assist with screenings, assessments, and data collection
