Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLPA licensure in Texas
  • Bilingual proficiency, with strong Spanish and English communication skills
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is preferred
  • Familiarity with providing support services to students with diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Ability to follow treatment plans designed by the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Collaborative attitude and adaptability in dynamic educational settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Work closely under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans
  • Provide direct services to students, assisting with speech, language, and communication goals
  • Collect and maintain accurate documentation on student progress
  • Communicate effectively with educators, staff, and families to support student achievement
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute insights toward student care
  • Adapt interventions and strategies as directed to meet individual student needs
