Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited SLPA program and active SLPA license
- Previous experience supporting speech-language services within a school setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families in a school environment
- Strong communication skills—must be comfortable serving a monolingual student population
- Professional, adaptable, and eager to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Implement therapy activities, following treatment plans developed by certified Speech-Language Pathologists
- Support students in achieving their communication goals within classroom and small group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress
- Communicate regularly with supervising SLP and participate in team meetings
- Assist with screenings and other tasks as directed to help drive positive student outcomes
