Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with PreK – 1st grade children
  • Familiarity with school-based therapy practices and documentation
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow treatment plans as directed by a licensed SLP
  • Passion for nurturing young learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students, following individualized education plans developed by supervising SLP
  • Support data collection, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute observations to guide treatment planning
  • Utilize engaging, student-centered approaches to foster a communicative classroom environment
