Make a difference in students’ lives by supporting communication and learning as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) working in school settings. This contract opportunity provides the chance to collaborate closely with a remote Speech-Language Pathologist, focusing on the needs of students across a variety of grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school. You’ll be working with a diverse and dynamic caseload, helping each student achieve greater success.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid SLPA licensure or certification
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills—able to coordinate effectively with Tele SLP and onsite staff
  • Adaptability to changing caseloads and building assignments
  • Solid understanding of group and individual speech-language intervention techniques

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with a Tele SLP to implement treatment plans for approximately 41 students (caseload subject to change)
  • Deliver 55 weekly thirty-minute therapy sessions, including both individual (16) and group (37) formats
  • Split services across three buildings, working with elementary, middle, and high school students
  • Collect and maintain accurate data on student progress
  • Modify therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Collaborate in IEP meetings and communicate with teaching staff and parents as needed
