Desired Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited SLPA program or higher
  • Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLPA in Tennessee
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy under the supervision of an SLP
  • Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Work one-on-one and in small groups with students identified for speech and language services
  • Document progress and maintain accurate student records
  • Communicate regularly with supervising SLP, teachers, and families
  • Assist with screening, assessments, and therapeutic materials
