School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Clovis, California

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field required
• Valid state licensure/certification as an SLPA (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred (but not required)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and encourage students
• Ability to follow therapy plans and accurately document progress
• Commitment to ethical practices and student confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language therapy activities under the direction of an SLP
• Provide direct support to students in both individual and group sessions
• Record and report student progress and session data
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain organized records
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote optimal student outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan reviews
