Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid SLPA license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee
- Previous experience supporting speech-language services in a school or pediatric environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with students, educators, and families
- Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and manage time efficiently
- Familiarity with implementing therapy plans and progress documentation under supervision
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional standards of practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in individual or small group settings as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Assist with conducting screenings and assessments as directed
- Support execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and document student progress accurately
- Prepare therapy materials and track session data in compliance with school guidelines
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development as needed
